Today I accomplished quite crucial things .. mom's special ordered shoes for the ceremony was chosen today, and she bought another pair for daily use. The shoemaker, Eddy, is Mr Jackson's friend. Mr Jackson is really a great help! He introduced me to many of his friends who once helped him during preparation before marriage. Mesakh, the dress designer (however, I'm quite regretful for not knowing him before I ordered that of eva bun's ...) is making my mom's dress and my evening gown .. *can't wait to see them*
Eddy, the shoemaker is also a friend of Mr Jackson. Mr Jackson is my mandarin teacher .. he's really encouraging me in my spiritual life. I once lost faith persevering in praying for my dad, but God gave me real strength thru him .. praise God.

And today I met the photgrapher, who'll take our pictures in the ceremony .. it's quite an incident of how I ran into this guy, I must say. I was surfing thru Cosmo mailing list, where I'm joining too. And one lady was looking for event photographer, and she listed all the names and phone numbers of those photographers recommended by another member of the mailing list. So I took note of them, and I called some. But this guy .. he asked to meet, so we promptly met this evening at my house. And *puff* deal ! I agreed to hire him, as he'll just ask for the production cost (film rolls, transportation, printing etc) and some fee for him, which he predicted will be less than 1 million .. *lega*

And, a token of appreciation goes to ABUN, my invitation and souvenir designer, who has been a real great help !! He has been patiently designing various invitation card designs .. brainstorming together .. put it into his "brush" (I mean keyboard) and *puff* the "pop-art" themed cards were done ! THANKS BUN (if u ever got the chance to read this journal )

Whew ... what a day ... and tomorrow will also be a tough day ... fitting day !! with the maids ..... ready Jo ? Ruth ?

tadi ada masalah dgn PC .. begitu nyalain power supply, tiba2 PCnya nyala ndiri ... trus mati ndiri, trus nyala ndiri, sempet masuk windows stlh gw set run default values (F2). Trus tiba2 log off ndiri ... wahhh .. gw pikir knp ni PC .. ada hantunya, virusnya dll dll ...
Stlh nanya Abadi (dia lg training pula .. upss..) ternyata krn power supplynya belom completely turn off, jadi bisa kayak gitu ... antara mati n idup deh .. gitu kira2 ... bikin gw kaget aja ..
Jadi, tadi pas PCnya nyala ndiri lagi, langsung teken tombol power di PCnya lamaan, biar matinya beneran, gak mati boongan lagi ... --; and it worked ! \^o^/

Anyway, i'm writing here to remind myself next time it happens again mudah2an bsia mbantu yg lain juga kalo ada trouble kayak gitu.

I accompanied my mom to go shopping at a hypermarket nearby (well .. not actually near anyway, coz my mom won't go if i'm not driving .. she bought too many stuff for warehouse stock!!)

I bought Flores Coffee Bean, tat I always drink. They have this offer: Buy any of our product for Rp 15k, and get prizes through yuusen ('undian', i dunno wat they call in english, help anybody ?) .. mug, pen, cap, coffee .. and guess wat I got .. i got extra 200 gr cinnamon coffee bean for the price of Rp 16k.. woohoo .. ^-^

Last august, got prize of the same way from Her World mag, a set of Elizabeth Arden beauty stuff together with the vouchers (didn't use them, though). When got back to indo, got another prize from Her World mag again, a set of Kose beauty stuff + a cute pouch.

Can't deny that I'm feeling happy rite now, and grateful to Him who allowed these to happen. Never expect them though .. gave some of them to the maid in our home

I bought a mag from Japan, containing lotsa stuff about health, how to maintain a healthy life and a healthy body thoroughly (from head to toe), taken from a prolonged famous TV programme aired by Nihon Terebi called Omoikkiri .. it's a really good programme, teling us about the plenty researches done by health-related researchers in Japan .. even the smallest thing can bring good to your health if done properly and persistenly. I can just comment, "WOW" to this kind of programme. There's many programme like this, though, to enhance the health and long live of Japanese people. I once saw TV programme telling about the average years lived by Japanese people in common. It's 85 for women, and 79-80 for men .. (I must say WOW again to this!). That's the average !! There's a village in Okinawa (an area known to have people with healthy, long lives ) where most of the citizen are above 90 years !

After residing a while there (and will be staying there longer), I soon come to a conclusion that it's mostly because of their healthy habits, food eaten, exercises that cause them to live longer.

After showing this mag to mom, she was really astonished to see how amazing they do those researches ... she's really eager to know more ..

It comes suddenly to my mind an idea to put all this health research results on my personal website .. throught the website, I'm hoping to enhance Indonesians' health (hopefully, if they read it) as well as my family's too ...

I'm writing this idea here in order to remind myself by the time I live there .. mom said it might be a good idea if I translate those articles and submit it to local health magazines, not only can I encourage people to live healthier, but also I earn money from it (not expecting much, though). That might sound a GOOD idea !! Mom siad that she could even translate it to chinese and submit it to local chinese newspaper ! Hmmm ... another good idea ... *grin*

Anyway, I really respect to Japanese in way that they really conduct research for the good sake of human being, well .. firstly Japanese people, of course
